CME Accreditation

The 2nd National Congress of the Italian Society for Virology has been accredited to the Italian Ministry of Health for the following professionals (18,2 CME credits):

  • Medical Doctor (all disciplines)
  • Biologist
  • Biotechnologist
  • Chemist
  • Hospital Pharmacist
  • Medical laboratory technician
  • Nurse
  • Physicist
  • Veterinary (all disciplines)

To obtain credits, registered participants are required to:

  • Wear the identification badge during working sessions
  • Provide their signature and write entrance/exit times before and after attending working sessions
  • Complete assessment and satisfaction questionnaires

Credits will be given only if a participant attends 90% of the teaching event and provides correct answers to at least 75% of the questions included in the final assessment questionnaire. Accreditation will be documented by the Provider in CME certificates that will be sent to participants.
Speakers will be given 1 credit for each half-hour of consecutive teaching.
Speakers and moderators can receive credits as students (see Participants).

National educational objective: Guidelines - protocols - procedures.
Educational techniques: Master lessons, presentations about specific topics.
